Production on Whiteboards

Initially when we chose to do animation we felt it would be easier to use stop motion animation on whiteboards. This was because when drawing an image, you are able to draw the same image 1mm and erase the previous image. This would have made the animation a lot neater but would have taken a lot of time to do. Here is an example of how we hoped to animate our production:

This however became a problem when we decided to use colour to connote different representations throughout the productions. This would have been a problem because we didn't have the tools to use a variety of colours on a whiteboard and it would have taken a lot more time to have to colour in the board for each scene and each shot. We then chose to abandon the idea of using whiteboards and chose to use paint.
